We are sponsoring the Low Risk Ovarian Cancer Study at the Baylor Sammons Breast Center in Dallas.  Baylor Sammons will be working closely with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston to make sure the protocol of the study is strictly followed.  Our Baylor Sammons professionals will be recruiting women between the ages of 50 and 74 to participate in collecting blood samples annually.  If you would like to volunteer as a participant in the study or to volunteer in the recruitment of participants, please contact us at  214-213-4213  or you may email us at info@tracyjofoundation.org.   This is an exciting program for us,  to be in partnership with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston  and Baylor Sammons Breast Center in Dallas to help find an early diagnostic test for ovarian cancer.  Use of  the funds we raise in North Texas will be used to recruit and retain participants in our area to find a way to diagnose ovarian cancer in the early stages.  We will continue to provide informational brochures to the public about the risk factors and symptoms of ovarian cancer and available screening tests. We will continue to speak women’s forums to spread facts that all women should know about ovarian cancer and specifically about the Low-Risk Ovarian Cancer Study.  We will solicit grant dollars from charitable entities and donations from the general public and businesses so that we can continue to fund the study, and educate women about the disease.
